Halifax serves as a well known sea port located on Canada’s eastern border in the Atlantic Ocean and has rich history dating further than the 19th century. Halifax was especially well known during the War of 1812 as being a trading hub for privateers. Being on the edge of Canada also was a popular entrance for immigrants and that’s a valid reason for all of the diversity found here today. Come to Halifax and see all of the history that established this nautical city from the Citadel to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and don’t forget to stop by the beautiful Halifax Public Gardens for a drier piece of nature. We believe that these cities that help with the transitions of the future settlements help paint the overall journey and we highly recommend Halifax!
Rovinj, a small city of about 20,000 residents, lies on the North side of the Adriatic Sea and is also home to a fishing port. If you enjoy quaint buildings and churches, cobblestone streets, and beautiful views of the ocean than Rovinj might just be for you. Just north of the city, lies a fjord channel that offers stunning views along with many offered charter excursions. If you decide to check out this beautiful city, you’re better off going during their summer months, June through August, because the average climate is around 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius). Croatia has so much to offer as a whole and Rovinj embodies just the same.
Riga, the capital of Latvia, is another city with lots of quaint architecture dating back to the Medieval era and is stationed right on the Baltic Sea.
