This is the classic road trip through small town America, much of which doesn’t exist today. Classic and now essentially abandoned and forgotten, Route 66 is a true blast from the past. Enjoy classic American diners, roadside motels, and small downtown areas as you trek through the heart of America!
Since the route has been decommissioned, in some areas the route is unpaved or the road conditions are impassable but modern interstate highways parallel most of the route so you’re sure to be able to find a quick detour and get back on the route!

Short, sweet, and unbelievably stunning! Not everyone can set aside a week plus for a road trip so this one, if you happen to be in Hawaii (duh), this is a perfect day trip that has been revered as a must do when on the island of Maui. More than just a beautiful drive, plenty of history and legends can be discovered along the way which is a sure way to enhance your cultural awareness of this beautiful land and its people. It’s not for those who are in a hurry because even though it’s short in distance, it sports over 600 turns and around 50 one lane bridges! This makes you slow down and enjoy the drive even more but be sure to back some food and drinks because you’ll definitely want to stop for a quick dip in one of the many streams of beaches!

Big Sur is the classic American coastal road trip of Northern California. Hwy-1 is California’s longest and most popular scenic route that’s filled with natural wonders for your to “oos” and “ahs” over the entire time. Along the twist and turns of Hwy-1 you will be driving along dramatic cliffs with a beautifully unique coastal view that will make you appreciate the natural beauty that still exist in this modern age. Adventures be warned, this is a bit like a driving camping trip in the woods. Very little service along the entire route and very few places to stop along the way so be sure your gassed up and have some snack for the ride!

Ocean on one side and The Outback on the other, does it get much better than that mate?! We think coastal drives are the best and what better coast to drive than the South of Australia right outside of Melbourne. Absorb the beautiful scenery that the coastline covers and take the chance to get out of the car and into nature! You’ll be able to stop off for beautiful walks on the beach while admiring the seemingly endless rock formation jetting out of the sea with dramatic waves crashing into them. But you’ll be able to experience much more than coastal life along the way. Be sure to stop off to explore the Great Otway National Park where you will see ancient trees, waterfalls, and an array of wildlife!

Although this isn’t technically a road trip it certainly could be made one and we believe it’s one of the most incredible trips one could take! A unique drive through the largest salt flat in the world will leave you speechless on many occasions! When dry, the salt is so white that it could easily be mistaken for ice, but when wet after a rain it’s like you’re driving on the largest mirror in the world with the salt being so reflective. Both conditions offer one of a kind photo opportunities that will be cherished for a lifetime!
